Candy packaging questions
What size bag do I need for 8 oz of gummies?
A 5" × 8" × 2.5" stand-up pouch — the retail-shelf size priced on this page.
If you want a taller face on the shelf for the same 8-10 oz, ask for a quote on the 5" × 8" × 3" — it holds a similar weight in a bag that stands taller next to competitors.
Will the film keep gummies from drying out?
Yes. We print on metallized high-barrier film with a resealable zipper, which is what holds moisture in the bag.
A clear PET/PE bag will not — gummies in low-barrier film go hard within weeks.
How much candy fits in a 6" × 9" × 3" pouch?
About 1 lb of gummies or hard candy — and only about 2.5 oz of freeze-dried candy.
Density is what drives it, not the dimensions, which is why the same bag is a 1 lb SKU for one candy brand and a 2.5 oz SKU for another.
Can I order different artwork for each flavour?
Yes — each design is its own print run, so a four-flavour line is four orders of 500.
There are no plate or setup fees on either.
Are the bags food safe?
Yes. Our plant is SQF certified and the film is cleared for direct food contact, so candy can go straight into the bag with no inner liner.
