Our press floor, Oak Park, Michigan
Most herb packaging is brokered — you buy from a company that buys from a factory it has never walked into. Your bags are printed on our own presses, by the people who set up your artwork.
Six things a natural herbs brand can check before it spends a dollar with us.
Opaque
Light fades what you're sellingColour and the compounds that give an herb its potency both degrade under light; a clear bag on a shelf is a slow bleach. The metallized layer is fully opaque, so lavender is still purple and chamomile still yellow at the end of the shelf life.
Aroma
The aromatics stay in the bagWhat makes an herb worth buying is volatile — it walks through paper and thin poly and takes the value with it. Multi-layer metallized film is an aroma barrier in both directions.
<0.02 g
Dry stays dryDried botanicals are hygroscopic; a little humidity clumps them and enough grows mould. Film under 0.02 g/100in²/day keeps the leaf at the moisture it was dried to.
Oak Park, Michigan
We own the pressesYour bags are printed on our own equipment in Oak Park, Michigan. Most "manufacturers" in this category are brokers reselling an overseas run — there is nobody between your file and our press.
500 bags
500 bags, not 5,000Most converters will not quote an herb grower under 5,000 units. Quick Order starts at 500, with no plate fee and no setup fee, so a new SKU costs a few hundred dollars to test instead of a few thousand.
7–10 days
Printed and shipped freeProduction runs 7–10 business days from the day you approve the proof, and shipping anywhere in the US is free — quoted in the price you saw, not added at checkout.

A 4" × 6" × 2" stand-up pouch — dried herb is very light, so 1–2 oz fills the bag a dense product would call a 4 oz.
The 5″×8″×2.5″ takes 4 oz, the 6″×9″×3″ 8 oz for a practitioner or bulk bag, and the 2.5″×7″ flat a single-dose sample.
Yes — the film is fully opaque, an aroma barrier, and holds moisture under 0.02 g/100in²/day and oxygen under 0.1 cc/100in²/day: light, air and humidity, which are the three things that degrade a dried botanical.
Yes — the bag prints edge to edge on both sides; the back panel carries the botanical name, origin, a facts panel and any lot or harvest date at a readable size.
Yes — child-resistant is an option on the order step for the herbal products that need it, certified to the two standards regulated markets check for.
500 bags on every size — most converters will not quote an herb grower under 5,000 per run.
Every size, from the smallest flat pouch to the 8" × 12" × 4", starts at 500 bags — a tenth of the run most converters ask for, which is what makes testing a new SKU possible without committing to a run you have never sold a unit of.
About 7–10 business days from the day you approve your proof, because every bag is printed in-house in Oak Park, Michigan.
