General Questions

Once you approve your artwork and submit your deposit, you can expect to receive your mylar packaging within 15 to 20 business days.

We use a digital printing press, which requires a standard use of CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black).

Yes. At Brand My Bags, we have a minimum order quantity of 5,000 mylar bags.

When you place an order at Brand My Bags, you’ll enter a multi-step design process to ensure you receive exactly what you need. You can choose from our extensive list of industry-standard templates or submit your own design. Once you’ve completed this step, we’ll lay out the finished product and send you an approval PDF.

We’re able to color-match as closely as possible, as long as we receive Pantone colors.

Absolutely not. We pride ourselves on making sure our clients have complete clarity regarding their investment from the beginning. Before you finalize your order, we’ll provide you with accurate and upfront costs, leaving no room for surprise charges.

We will render a sales tax unless provided with a sales tax exemption form.
Shipping costs are not included in your custom bag price.

The type of mylar bag you choose will depend on a few factors, including product size, type, and purpose. Our professionals will gladly walk you through our products and help you determine which one is right for your needs.

In the world of mylar packaging, digital printing is the more versatile option. A digital press allows for higher SKU counts and a wider variety of color options. By using this method, we can create quality mylar packaging at a much faster rate.

The text in your artwork is tied to a font. More times than not, we will not have the given font downloaded, which prevents us from printing your requested artwork. As the name suggests, outlining text converts editable text into an outline, which allows us with a “print-ready” font.

We advise that two versions of the artwork be saved: one with outlined text and one with editable text.

We offer two ways to differentiate your packaging and stand out from the competition: metal effects and spot UV. Metal effects is the absence of a white layer on specific portions of the artwork, forcing metal to shine through the ink and create a shiny effect. In contrast, spot UV is applied on the lamination machine and adds a gloss layer over top of specific portions of the design.

We can print up to five variations for the 5,000 mylar bag minimum order quantity. The minimum quantity per design is 1,000 mylar bags.
